It aims to support European researchers in the field of information and communication technologies with an interest to collaborate with partners in Australia. Experts in EU-AU research collaboration will provide insights into the Australian research and innovation environment and inform about current funding opportunities.

The Speakers

CRCs CEO Dr Anthony Peacock is a passionate advocate for applied research and a past recipient of the Australian Govervment‘s Eureka Prize for Promotiong the Public Understanding of Science. A reproductive scientist by training, Tony has worked at the Universities of Sydney, Melbourne and Saskatchewan. He has served on the Board of a number of start-up biotechnology companies, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra. His current research interests are in science communication, research leadership and effective innovation systems.


Christel Nolte is the Assistant Manager for Europe in the International Strategy, Science and Innovation, Science and Commercialisation Policy Division of the Government of Australia‘s Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
